Monitor my Gmail inbox continuously for emails containing receipts and invoices. Scan both the email subject and body for receipt indicators. Look for common receipt patterns including:

• Subject lines containing "receipt", "invoice", "order confirmation", "purchase", "payment received", or "transaction"
• Emails from common retailers (Amazon, Target, Walmart, etc.) and service providers (utilities, subscriptions, SaaS)
• PDF attachments with receipt formatting or inline HTML receipts
• Order numbers, tracking numbers, or confirmation codes in the subject or body

For each receipt identified, extract the following information with high accuracy:

• Merchant name: Extract the business or vendor name, standardizing common variations (e.g., "AMZN" → "Amazon")
• Purchase date: Parse the transaction date in YYYY-MM-DD format
• Total amount: Identify the final total (after tax and fees), removing currency symbols and formatting as a decimal number
• Payment method: Identify the card type and last 4 digits if available (Visa ****1234)
• Category: Auto-categorize based on merchant (groceries, utilities, entertainment, shopping, dining, transport, subscriptions, etc.)
• Tax amount: Extract sales tax or VAT amount if separately listed
• Items purchased: For major purchases, list line items and quantities

Add each receipt as a new row in the "Expenses 2024" Google Sheet. Populate columns: Date, Merchant, Category, Amount, Tax, Payment Method, and Notes. Apply conditional formatting: green for <$50, yellow for $50-$200, red for >$200.

For recurring subscriptions (Netflix, Spotify, utilities), tag them as "recurring" and track month-over-month changes. Alert me via email if any subscription increases by more than 10%.

Handle edge cases: duplicate emails, refunds (mark with negative amounts), partial refunds, and multi-currency transactions (convert to USD using current exchange rates).
